It’s birthday time at our house again...

12 years ago today.......can you believe I just said 12 years ago? Time has gone by so quickly.

Just 12 short years ago M.J. came into our family. He was so beautiful. His big brother loved him from the first time they met. My husband and I loved him before he was even born. I couldn't stop kissing him. He was the cutest baby I had ever seen...

Then I blinkedand now he is almost grown. He has brought so much joy to my life!!!

There are so many things to love about M.J. I love when he acts silly and dances to the radio with me. I love that he will always go to the store with me, and that he remembers everything (especially if I can't find where I put something). He is always willing to help and he gives the best advice when I'm working on an art project.
He is one of my 4 favorite guys!!!

Birthday party festivities included manicotti...M.J.'s favorite dinner... and of course…chocolate cake. And just to keep tradition alive we also included an off-key rendition of “Happy Birthday to You”.

We’re so thankful for family who came and helped us celebrate this special day.

Check out my “Recipe” page to try Birthday Manicotti and Fluffy Pudding Frosting.

So blogging seems to be an epidemic these days...everyone's reading them...everyone's talking about them...and everyone has one. Everyone but me!!

So here I go...welcome to my first blog!!

Since it's my blog, let's start with me. I'm a wife, a Young Women's leader, and an interior designer. But most importantly I am a mother. I have three sons. Three beautiful little boys sent from heaven...and I get to be their mommy. Motherhood has it's ups and downs, but it is definitely a learning experience. Patience, unconditional love, and finding joy in the quickly changing moment in life are all things I have learned from my children. Also because of these three amazing boys I am now an expert on bugs, snakes, frogs, Lego's, and video games.

I love warm sunny days, dancing to the radio, and taking walks with my husband. I love watching my boys turn into "baby-talkin', fuzz-ball kissin' girly-boys" when they hold our new kitten. I love working with the cute Young Women in our ward, they are such amazing people. They make me want to be a better person so I can be the leader that they deserve. I love a clean kitchen and the smell of freshly baked pie. I love pattern, texture, color and creating organized spaces.
